The EVO handlebar is the flagship unreinforced handlebar from ProTaper.
Oversized diameter handlebars without crossbars were invented and patented by ProTaper in 1991.
Without sacrificing strength, this design offers increased flexibility and shock absorption over conventional handlebars,
providing the rider with improved comfort and reduced fatigue.
Utilizing a premium 7000 series aluminum alloy construction and a four millimeter thick computer profiled wall design,
the EVO handlebar is up to 25 percent lighter and 45 percent stronger than competitive handlebars.
