Achieving CE approval for AAA is no small feat. AAA is the highest class for motorcycle protective clothing and is generally only achieved by one or two-piece leather suits.

The shirt is equipped with the new Micro-Lock Compact, Knox's most advanced protection, with improvements in all key areas. Up to 60% lighter, thinner, and more flexible for all-day comfort.

The Micro-Lock Compact is designed to move easily with the body while riding and has excellent shape recovery.

A patented Flex and Adapt side closure system opens and closes naturally and allows for unrestricted movement. This closure system also provides uninterrupted coverage, ensuring that the rider remains protected at all times.

The Micro-Lock Compact Level 2 shoulder and elbow protectors are certified to EN 1621-1:2012 L2 standards, and a Level 2 back protector is certified to EN 1621-2:2014 standards. The protectors are guaranteed for five years when registered.

The Honister jacket has been designed from the ground up. This includes everything from how it is tailored and cut to how the fabrics work. The construction has been carefully developed to be as comfortable in the harshest environments as during a leisurely ride in the countryside. A focus on detail enhances the style and the technical and CE AAA qualification standard according to EN 17092-2:2020 Class AAA is highlighted on the jacket.

Developing new mesh fabrics that offer ultimate strength and resilience has been achieved without sacrificing breathability. By combining this with the most durable stretch polyamide, riders can trust the protective qualities of the Honister jacket in all environments.

All the zips on the Honister jackets are from YKK. There are two zipped side pockets and a large zipped back pocket.

The attention to detail continues with the discreet Knox logo on the front hem as well as the back. The new brand badge on the sleeve is surrounded by reflective material, complemented by stripes that are only visible at night at the back. Thumb loops are found on the cuffs for added security, while an improved safety belt loop system is integrated inside so that riders can secure their trousers to the jacket. Even the collar has a soft interior for comfort around the neck.

The Honister is available in no less than eight sizes, from S to 5XL. It is also part of the Knox All-Season Collection. With this collection, there are no spring, summer, autumn, or winter clothing.
