The engineers Boyesen have developed a series of technical innovations in their range of intake systems to optimise power, torque and responsiveness: Aerodynamic Surface Optimization (optimisation of internal surfaces), Model-Specific Reed Petal Tensioning (reed valve specific to each model), Material Fuel Resistance (materials resistant to hydrocarbons), and Multi-Stage Reed Timing (staged opening reed valves).
The reed valves BOYESEN are specifically developed for each motorbike model.

• 100% aluminium reed valve body, optimised internal surface
• 4-way diffuser to optimise airflow and prevent pressure loss
• Intake pipe and mounting clips provided, direct fitting without modification
• Variable flexibility reeds, specific to each model (made from aerospace-grade carbon)
• Rubber-coated reeds that are resistant to hydrocarbons for prolonged gasket life
