The engineers Boyesen have developed a range of technical innovations in their intake systems to optimize power, torque, and flexibility: Aerodynamic Surface Optimization (optimisation of internal surfaces), Model-Specific Reed Petal Tensioning (reeds specific to each model), Material Fuel Resistance (fuel-resistant materials), and Multi-Stage Reed Timing (stepped opening reeds).

The reed valves BOYESEN are specifically developed for each motorcycle model.
