The F7 Taper bars are made from 7075-T6 aluminium and feature an oversized tapered extension (OTE) to provide ultimate strength and shock resistance, while the bending technology (EFT) and progressive damping control (PDC) help deliver just the right amount of flex and reduce machine vibrations to combat rider fatigue.

The OTE is an extension of the oversized central section (28.6 mm). The increase in oversized section to carry on after the last turn of the handlebars adds significant strength to the weakest part of any handlebars, combined with a wall thickness of 4 mm that remains constant even outside the curves, the F7 Taper bar is one of the lightest and strongest on the market.

The EFT technology is designed to impart slight flexibility to the bars. The careful selection of an inner wall thickness of 4 mm through the rise and taper zone of the bars helps to reduce the effects of jolts during large impacts while providing the rider with maximum feel from the front in turns.

The damping control PDC is created using a larger wall thickness of 5 mm on the handlebar grip area, which has been calculated to balance and dampen the effects of handlebar vibrations. This is a principle similar to handlebar weights used in sport bikes but specifically designed and tested to fit the range of vibrations produced by modern high-performance 4-stroke motocross bikes.
