LOCTITE 518 is a sealing product that creates flat gaskets with medium strength and excellent tolerance to contamination. It's ideal for use on surfaces made of cast iron, steel, and aluminium.

LOCTITE® 518 cures in the absence of air between accurately fitting metal surfaces. It's an anaerobic sealing product designed for use on rigid flange mating surfaces made of iron, aluminium, and steel. LOCTITE 518 fills gaps up to 0.25 mm and forms a flexible, chemical-resistant seal that won’t tear or break down. Parts can be easily disassembled even after multiple uses. It’s also used to seal rigid metal mating surfaces with precise fits. Additionally, it can be used to create a flat seal on rigid flange couplings, such as for transmission and engine housings.
