By pulling everything they could from its big brother on the previous year's CRF450 model, Yoshimura developed the RS-12 to optimise power on the new CRF250R, allowing it to have maximum power in its low and mid-range while providing a high rev limit to deliver the best power curve possible during Supercross and Motocross races.

The RS-12, with its integrated resonance chamber, race-tested construction and iconic shape, delivers the best available power for the new Honda CRF while keeping the DB level within acceptable race parameters and providing ample clearance for tires and brake calipers.
