Dual compound tread layout with specifications derived directly from Metzeler Sport Touring tire expertise.

The two main objectives of the project were to achieve supremacy in wet performance and longevity.

This combination was the initial step in obtaining a new generation of compounds whose best performance was achieved thanks to Metzeler's patented mixing process, capable of achieving an incomparable level of homogeneity as regards the compounds dispersed in the polymer matrix, thus contributing to the tire's longevity and even wear.

GRIP ON ALL TYPES OF ASPHALT

To achieve the best performance in the enduro street segment in the wet, including critical conditions such as grip in wet bends and emergency braking, Metzeler has developed a compound based on high-dispersion silica, high-performance synthetic polymers, resins and plasticizers.

The rear dimensions adopt a dual-compound solution, where the central band (silica and carbon black) is approximately 40mm wide to fully include the contact zone on straights, for optimized longevity and traction. The side compound is 100% silica, ensuring maximum chemical grip on wet surfaces and grip in curves and for traction in all autres conditions.

The front dimensions are made of a large quantity of silica blended with different types of polymers and resins whose compositions offer outstanding handling and grip when braking and cornering. The tread layout ensures that the 100% silica compound is available as soon as the bike leans into the corner, offering excellent riding confidence and a feeling of safety.

STABILITY IN ALL CONDITIONS

Structure extremely rigid and made of rayon fibers ensuring stability even at high speeds and when the bike is loaded with suitcases and a passenger.
