Loctite SI5980 is a sealant specially designed for flat surfaces. It withstands low-pressure tests carried out after the joint surfaces have been assembled. Perfectly suited to pressed sheet metal covers (timing and oil pans) where good oil resistance and the ability to withstand large gasket deformations are required.
