To enhance one of our most iconic products, the challenge was significant with the TracTech boot. However, the development team RST rose to this challenge in 2026. We started with a new internal profile, making the boot slimmer at the front to ease gear shifts. We then added a new, more durable slider, updated the movement panels, reconfigured the shaft, and included D3O protection at the shin and ankle. This all led to a major improvement in safety with an IPA and IPS protection rating of 2/2/2/2.
