- An innovative low-friction coating patented by Alpinestars is applied to the inner layer of the main EPS liner to reduce rotational acceleration forces that may result from certain oblique impacts.
- This layer acts as a sliding plane to mimic the brain's own low-friction cerebrospinal fluid, which is the body's natural defence against oblique impacts.
- The patented visor release system ensures the release of the visor with a correct predetermined force, effectively reducing forces on the neck during an impact.
