The SM7 helmet is designed for off-road competition, combining shock protection with comfort.

• Lightweight and durable composite outer shell.
• The aerodynamic profile of the outer shell is designed to reduce friction in the event of an impact, allowing for optimal energy deflection and transfer to protect the rider's head from direct forces on the neck and spine.
• With 20 air intake and exhaust vents, including 13 intakes and 8 exhausts (excluding the eye opening), this helmet is ultra-ventilated.
• Patented visor release system designed to automatically detach the visor from the shell in impacts over 15 joules, regardless of direction, for optimal protection.
• Removable and washable liners.
• The Plasma technology patented by Alpinestars is strategically integrated into the side foams of the SM7 for effective shock absorption in critical areas, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
• 3D foam cheek pads, emergency removal system (ERS), channel for hydration tube. Cushions interchangeable across all sizes.
• The padding of the shell and neck is elastically connected for better management of oblique impacts.
• The Top Pad is removable and height adjustable thanks to the A-head system.
• Chin strap equipped with a 25 mm nylon strap, stainless steel DD rings, and removable covers for washing.
• Shell size solution ensuring each helmet size has a suitably fitted shell for optimal anatomical adjustment.
• Three shell sizes (M, L, and XL) and 6 user sizes from XS to XXL for a perfect fit. Enhances comfort, impact efficiency and reduces total weight.
• The fit can be customised with replacement cheek pads Alpinestars, available in all thicknesses and compatible across all shell sizes.
• Integrated channels on both sides to accommodate a hydration system.
• Communication system compatible with a cutout on the left side of the EPS to integrate an intercom, with housing for speakers on both sides.
