The SM7 helmet is designed for off-road competition, combining impact protection and comfort.

• Lightweight and durable composite outer shell
• The aerodynamic profile of the outer shell is designed to reduce friction upon impact, allowing deflection and ensuring optimal energy transfer to protect the rider's head from direct forces, redirecting them to the neck and spine.
• Thanks to 20 individual intake and exhaust vents, including 13 inlets and 8 outlets (not counting the eye opening), this helmet is ultra-ventilated.
• Patented visor release system designed to automatically detach the visor from the shell in case of an impact exceeding 15 joules, ensuring optimal protection regardless of direction.
• The Plasma technology patented by Alpinestars is strategically integrated into the side padding of the SM7 for high-performance shock absorption in critical areas, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
• Removable and washable liners.
• 3D foam cheek pads with emergency removal system (ERS) and channel for hydration tube. Interchangeable across all sizes.
• The padding for the shell and neck are elastically connected for better management of oblique impacts.
• The Top Pad is removable and height-adjustable thanks to the A-head system.
• Chin strap equipped with a 25 mm nylon webbing, stainless steel D-rings, and removable covers for washing.
• Each helmet size has its own shell for optimal anatomical fit.
• Three helmet shell sizes (M, L, and XL) and 6 user sizes from XS to XXL for an optimal fit. Enhances comfort, protection, and reduces weight.
• The fit can be customized with optional cheek pads from Alpinestars, available in all thicknesses and interchangeable across all shell sizes.
• Both sides have integrated channels to accommodate a hydration system.
• Compatible with communication systems thanks to a cutout on the left side of the EPS for integrating an intercom, with locations for speakers on either side.
