Super-Sport or Sport-Touring, depending on your riding style:

In gentle riding, the long grooves ensure optimal water evacuation and good tread mobility, allowing for quick heating and maximized ground contact surface, resulting in more comfort and grip: the optimal behaviour of a Sport-Touring tyre.

In sporty riding, and when the tyre is used at a higher pace, the walls of the grooves come closer together for more stability. This allows the compound to deliver its full grip potential, improving trajectory precision, especially when leaning, thus providing the behaviour of a Super-Sport tyre.

The ROADTEC™ 02 enhances riding pleasure and handling:

The contact surface is very neutral due to the reduced number of grooves on the tread, which increases its quality and manoeuvrability.

Fewer grooves mean less interruption of contact, resulting in less vibration, less noise, and a more uniform lean.

The ROADTEC™ 02 improves grip on dry ground:

The larger amount of rubber in contact with the ground generates more grip. Additionally, the adaptive tread design increases its compactness and responsiveness as the pace increases.

This compound covers about 80% of the tyre's width, evenly distributed on each side.

The new generation of 100% silica compounds at the front and rear enhances chemical grip on wet roads.

Using the same compounds on both the front and rear shoulders provides a consistent contact feel when leaning.
