Same BATFLY geometry with directional "non-round profile". The carrier is made of ALUMINIUM AL7075-T6.
This allows for an optimized shape, reduced weight, higher stiffness, with the introduction of a new style.
The new geometry of the rotor- hub coupling, which allows the rotor rods to slide in the radial direction, improves the response to stresses and strains at high temperatures. More consistent disc temperature without increasing weight.
Improved and more direct rider feel. The new coupling system rotor- hub is more direct and the two components are in constant and direct contact. This means that the rider feels a powerful and efficient braking from the beginning to the end of the braking event.
Leading MXGP riders report an improved feel and power of the braking system when using the new EPTA discs.
