Description
Engine mount SW-Motech Honda CRF 1000 L Africa Twin (15-)
Engine compartment
The particularly stable design of the engine mount also offers the best protection for valuable components, thanks to a wall thickness of five millimetres on the underbody and a particularly large protective surface. An additional point chassis support, an innovation from SW-MOTECH, distributes the forces acting on the ground contact not only to the mounting points, but also to the steel frame of the Africa Twin.
- To replace the original engine mount Honda with a wall thickness of 2.5 millimeters.
- Protects the underbody, manifold and exhaust components from stone impacts and collisions.
- More robust thanks to a five-millimeter-thick sheet of high-strength aluminum alloy in the lower section and a four-millimeter-thick sheet on the sides.
- The SW-MOTECH engine cowling is characterized by a particularly long, high contour on the sides, and thus by a particularly large protective surface.
- Unlike the much smallerorigine engine mount, it also protects parts of the manifold and exhaust system.
- The 8mm-thick hard rubber elements absorb additional forces and distribute them to all bearing points.
- Two cut-outs on the bottom provide access to the two oil drain plugs, so there's no need to remove the motor shoe to drain the engine oil.
- Side cut-outs provide ventilation, reduce weight and enhance the bike's aesthetics.
