The engineers Boyesen have developed a series of technical innovations for their range of intake systems to optimise power, torque, and responsiveness: Aerodynamic Surface Optimization (optimisation of internal surfaces), Model-Specific Reed Petal Tensioning (model-specific reed petals), Material Fuel Resistance (materials resistant to hydrocarbons), and Multi-Stage Reed Timing (staged opening reeds).
The reed valves BOYESEN are specifically designed for each motorcycle model.

• 100% aluminium reed valve body with optimised internal surface
• 4-way diffuser to optimise airflow and avoid pressure losses
• Intake pipe and mounting clamps included for direct installation without modification
• Variable flexibility reeds, specific to each model (made from aerospace-grade carbon)
• Reeds coated with rubber and resistant to hydrocarbons to ensure a prolonged lifespan of the gaskets
